In a marvelous catechesis, the Lord and the Virgin Mary have been instructing us first on how to pray the Rosary, that being to pray it with our hearts and meditate and enjoy the moments when we encounter God and our Blessed Mother.  They have also instructed us on the way to make a good confession and, in this document, a teaching on what happens during the Holy Mass and how to live it with our hearts.

This is the testimony that I must and want to give to the whole world, for the greater Glory of God and for the salvation of all of those who want to open their hearts to the Lord.  It is also given so that many souls consecrated to God will rekindle the fire of their love for Christ, some of whom are the owners of the hands that have the power to bring Him to our world so that He can become our nourishment. It is also given for others so that they break lose of the “routine practice” of receiving Him and relive the amazement of their daily encounter with Love.  And it is given so that my lay brothers and sisters from the entire world live the greatest Miracle with their hearts: the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

It was the vigil of the Annunciation and the members of our group had gone to the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  Some of the ladies of the prayer group had not been able to do it, and so they left their reconciliation for the next day before the Mass.

When I arrived at church the next day, a little bit late, the Archbishop and priests were already coming out of the sacristy.  The Virgin Mary said with her soft and feminine voice that sweetens one’s soul:

“Today is a day of learning for you and I want you to pay close attention because of what you will witness today.  Everything that you will experience today, you will have to share with all of humanity.”  I was deeply moved without understanding why, but I tried to be very attentive.

The first thing I noticed was a choir of very beautiful voices that was singing as if it was far away.  For moments the music came closer and, then, it went further away like the sound of the wind.

The Archbishop started Mass and, when he reached the Penitential Rite, the Blessed Virgin said:

“From the bottom of your heart ask the Lord to forgive your faults that have offended Him.  In this way you will be able to participate worthily in this privilege of assisting at the Holy Mass.”

I thought for a fraction of a second: “Surely I am in a state of grace of God, I went to confession last night.”

She answered: “Do you think that since last night you have not offended the Lord?  Let Me remind you of a few things.  When you left to come here, the girl who helps you approached to ask you for something and, as you were late and in a hurry, you did not answer her in a very nice way. There was a lack of charity on your part and you say, you have not offended God…?

“While on the way here, a bus crossed over your lane and almost hit you.  You expressed yourself in a very non-advisable way against that poor man, instead of saying your prayers and preparing yourself for Mass.  You have failed in charity and lost your peace and patience.  And you say you have not hurt the Lord?

“You arrive at the last minute when the procession of the celebrants is already coming out to celebrate the Mass… and you are going to participate without previous preparation…”

I replied, “All right, my Mother, say no more to me.  You do not have to remind me of more things because I am going to die of grief and shame.”

“Why must you all arrive at the last moment?  You should have arrived earlier to be able to pray and ask the Lord to send His Holy Spirit that He may grant you a spirit of peace and cleanse you of the spirit of the world, your worries, your problems and your distractions so as to enable you to live this so sacred a moment.  However, you arrive almost when the celebration is about to commence and you participate as if it is an ordinary event, without any spiritual preparation.  Why?  This is the greatest of Miracles.  You are going to live the moment when the Most High God gives His greatest gift and you do not know how to appreciate it.”

This was enough.  I felt so bad that I had more than enough to ask for forgiveness from God.  It was not only for the offenses of that day, but also for all the times that, like so many other people,  I had waited for the priest to finish his homily before entering the Church.  It was also for the times that I did not know or refused to understand what it meant to be there, and for the times that perhaps my soul was full of more serious sins and I had dared to participate in the Holy Mass.

It was a Feast day and the Gloria was to be recited.  Our Lady said: “Glorify and bless with all your love the Holy Trinity, in your acknowledgement of being one of Its creatures.”

How different was that Gloria!  Suddenly I saw myself in a far off place full of light, before the Majestic Presence of the Throne of God.  With so much love I went on thanking Him, as I repeated: “For your immense Glory we praise You, we bless You, we adore You, we give You glory, we give You thanks, Lord, God, Heavenly King, God the Father Almighty.”  And I recalled the paternal face of the Father, full of kindness.  “Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world…”  And Jesus was in front of me, with that face full of tenderness and Mercy… “For You alone are the Holy One, You alone are the Lord, You alone are the most High Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit…”,  the God of beautiful Love.  He, Who at that moment, caused my whole being to tremble…

And I asked: “Lord, deliver me from all evil spirits.  My heart belongs to You.  My Lord, send me Your peace so that I can gain the finest benefits from the Eucharist and that my life may produce the best fruits.  Holy Spirit of God, transform me, act within me, guide me.  Oh God, give me the gifts that I need to serve you better!”

The moment of the Liturgy of the Word arrived and the Virgin Mary made me repeat: “Lord, today I want to listen to Your Word and produce abundant fruit.   May Your Holy Spirit clean the interior of my heart so that Your Word grows and develops in it, purifying my heart so that it may be well disposed.”

Our Lady said: “I want you to be attentive to the readings and to all of the homily of the priest.  Remember that the Bible says that the Word of God does not return without bearing fruit.  If you are attentive, something from all that you heard will remain in you.  You should try to recall all day long those Words that left an impression on you.  Sometimes it may be two verses, other times the reading of the entire Gospel or perhaps only one word.  Savor them for the rest of the day and it will then become part of you, because that is the way to change one’s life, by allowing the Word of God to transform you.

“And now, tell the Lord that you are here to listen, that you want Him to speak to your heart today.”

Once again I thanked God for giving me the opportunity to hear His Word.  And I asked Him for forgiveness for having had such a hard heart for so many years and for having taught my children that they had to go to Mass on Sundays because it is commanded by the Church and not for love and the need to be filled with God.

I had attended so many Eucharistic Celebrations mostly out of obligation and, because of this, I believed I was saved.  But I did not live it and, much less, did I  pay attention to the readings or to the priest’s homily!

How much pain I felt for so many years of needless loss because of my ignorance!  How superficial is our attendance at the Mass when we go only because someone is getting married, or for a funeral Mass or because we have to be seen by society!  How much ignorance about our Church and the Sacraments!  How much waste in trying to instruct and enlighten ourselves about the things of the world, which in a moment can disappear leaving us with nothing and, at the end of our life, not serve to extend a minute to our existence!  However, we know nothing of that which will give us a little of heaven on earth and, afterwards, eternal life.  And we call ourselves cultured men and women!

A moment later the Offertory arrived and the Holy Virgin said: “Pray like this: (and I repeated after her) Lord, I offer all that I am, all that I have, all that I can.  I put everything into Your Hands.  Build it up, Lord, with the little thing that I am.  By the merits of Your Son, transform me, God Almighty.  I petition You for my family, for my benefactors, for each member of our Apostolate, for all the people who fight against us, for those who commend themselves to my poor prayers.  Teach me to lay down my heart as if on the ground before them so that their walk may be less severe.  This is how the saints prayed; this is how I want all of you to do it.”

Thus, this is how Jesus asks us to pray, that we put our hearts as if on the ground so that they do not feel its severity, but rather that we alleviate the pain of their steps.  Years later, I read a book of prayers of a Saint whom I loved dearly, Jose Maria Escrivá de Balaguer, and in that book I found a prayer similar to that which the Virgin Mary taught me.  Perhaps this Saint, to whom I entrust myself, pleased the Virgin Mary with those prayers.

Suddenly some characters whom I had not seen before began to stand up.  It was as if from the side of each person present in the Cathedral, another person emerged and soon the Cathedral became full of young, beautiful people.  They were dressed in very white robes and they started to move into the central aisle and, then, went towards the Altar.

Our Mother said: “Observe.  They are the Guardian Angels of each one of the persons who are here.  This is the moment in which your guardian angel carries your offerings and petitions before the Altar of the Lord.”

At that moment, I was completely astonished, because these beings had such beautiful faces, so radiant as one is unable to imagine.  Their countenance was very beautiful with almost feminine faces; however, the structure of their body, their hands, their height were masculine. Their naked feet did not touch the floor, but rather they went as if gliding.  That procession was very beautiful.

Some of them were carrying something as like a source golden bowl of gold with something that shone a great deal like with a golden-white light.  The Virgin Mary said: “They are the Guardian Angels of the persons people that who are offering this Holy Mass for many intentions, those who are conscious of what this celebration means,.  They have something to offer the Lord..”

“Offer yourselves at this moment… offer your sorrows, your pains, your hopes, your sadness, your joys, your petitions.  Remember that the Mass has infinite value.  Therefore, be generous in offering and in asking.”

Behind the first Angels came others who had nothing in their hands; they were coming empty handed.  The Virgin Mary said: “Those are the angels of the people who are here but never offer anything.  They have no interest in living each liturgical moment of the Mass and they have no gifts to carry before the Altar of the Lord.”

At the end of the procession came other angels who were rather sad, with their hands joined in prayer but with their eyes downcast.  “These are the Guardian Angels of the people who are here but do not want to be, that is to say of the people who have been forced to come here, who have come out of obligation but without any desire to participate in the Holy Mass.  The angels go forth sadly because they have nothing to carry to the Altar, except for their own prayers.”

“Do not sadden your Guardian Angel.  Ask for much, ask for the conversion of sinners, for peace in the world, for your families, your neighbors, for those who ask for your prayers.  Ask, ask for much, but not only for yourselves, but for everyone else.

“Remember that the offering which most pleases the Lord is when you offer yourselves as a holocaust so that Jesus upon His descent may transform you by His own merits. What do you have to offer the Father by yourselves? Nothingness and sin.  But the offering of oneself united to the merits of Jesus, that offering is pleasing to the Father.”

That sight, that procession was so beautiful that it would be difficult to compare it to another. All those celestial creatures bowing before the Altar, some leaving their offerings on the floor, others prostrating themselves on their knees with their foreheads almost touching the floor.  And as soon as they arrived at the Altar, they would disappear from my sight.

The final moment of the Preface arrived and when the assembly said, “Holy, Holy, Holy”, suddenly everything that was behind the celebrants disappeared.  Behind the left side of the Archbishop, thousands of Angels appeared in a diagonal line, small angels, big angels, angels with immense wings, angels with small wings, angels without wings.   As the previous ones, all were dressed with tunics like the white robes of the priests or altar boys.

Everyone knelt with their hands united in prayer and bowed their heads in reverence.  Beautiful music was heard as if there were many choirs with different voices, all singing in unison together with the people: Holy, Holy, Holy…

The moment of the Consecration, the moment of the most marvelous of Miracles had arrived.  Behind the right side of the Archbishop appeared a multitude of people also in a diagonal line.  They were dressed in the same tunic but in pastel colors of: rose, green, light blue, lilac, yellow, in short, in different and very soft colors. Their faces were also brilliant, full of joy.  They all seemed to be the same age.  You could note (I can’t say why) that they were people of different ages but their faces looked the same, without wrinkles, happy.  They all knelt down as well at the singing of “Holy, Holy, Holy Lord…”

Our Lady said: “These are all the Saints and the Blessed of Heaven and among them are the souls of your relatives who already enjoy the Presence of God.”  Then I saw Her, exactly to the right of the Archbishop, a step behind the celebrant.  She was suspended a little off the floor, kneeling on some very fine, transparent but at the same time luminous fabric, as crystalline water.  The Holy Virgin, with hands joined, was looking attentively and respectfully at the celebrant.  She spoke to me from there, but silently, directly to the heart, without looking at me:

“It surprises you to see Me standing a little behind Monsignor [the Archbishop], does it not ?  This is how it should be… With all the love that My Son gives Me, He has not given Me the dignity that He has given the priests of being able to perform the daily Miracle with My hands as they do with their priestly hands.  Because of this, I feel a deep respect for priests and for the miracle that God carries out through them, which compels Me to kneel here behind them.”  [Translator’s note: In Latin America and in other countries a Bishop and Archbishop is addressed as “Monsignor”.]

My God, how much dignity, how much grace the Lord pours over the priestly souls and neither we, nor perhaps some of them, are conscious of this.

Before the Altar, there appeared some shadows of people in a gray color with their hands raised.  The Holy Virgin said: “These are the blessed souls of Purgatory, who await your prayers to be refreshed.  Do not stop praying for them.  They pray for you but they cannot pray for themselves.  It is you who have to pray for them, in order to help them depart so that they can be with God and enjoy Him eternally.

“Now you now see it; I am here all the time.  People go on pilgrimages, searching for the places where I have appeared.  This is good because of all the graces that they will receive there.  But during no apparition, in no other place, am I more present than during the Holy Mass.  You will always find Me at the foot of the Altar where the Eucharist is celebrated; at the foot of the Tabernacle, I remain with the angels because I am always with Him.”

To see that beautiful countenance of the Mother at that moment of the words “Holy, Holy, Holy…” as well as all the others with their radiant faces, with hands joined, awaiting that miracle which repeats itself continuously, was to be in Heaven itself.  And to think there are people who can at that moment be distracted in conversation.  It hurts me to tell you, many men, more than women, stand with their arms crossed, as if paying homage to the Lord as one equal to another.

The Virgin Mary said: “Tell all people that never is a man more manly then when he bends his knees before God.”

The celebrant said the words of the Consecration.  He was a person of normal height, but suddenly he began to grow, becoming filled with light, a supernatural light between white and gold that enveloped him and grew very strong around the face. And because of it I could not see his features.  When he raised the Host, I saw his hands and on the back of his hands he had some marks from which emanated a great deal of light. It was Jesus!  It was Him Who was wrapping His Body around the celebrant, as if He were lovingly surrounding the hands of the Archbishop.  At that moment the Host began to grow and became enormous and upon it the marvelous face of Jesus appeared looking at His people.

By instinct I wanted to bow my head and Our Lady said: “Do not look down.  Look up to view and contemplate Him.  Exchange your gaze with His and repeat the prayer of Fatima: Lord, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love You.  I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust and do not love You.  Forgiveness and Mercy… Now tell Him how much you love Him and pay your homage to the King of Kings.”

I told it to Him and it seemed as if I was the only one He was looking at from the enormous Host.  But I learned that this was the way He gazed at each person, with love to the fullest. Then I lowered my head until I had my forehead on the floor, as did all the Angels and the blessed from Heaven.  Perhaps for a fraction of a second, I wondered how Jesus was taking on the body of the celebrant and at the same time He was inside the Host. And as he lowered the Host, it returned to its normal size.  Tears ran down my cheeks; I was unable to let go of my astonishment.

Immediately Monsignor said the words of the Consecration of the wine and, as the words were being said, lightning appeared from the heavens and in the background.  The walls and ceiling of the church had disappeared.  All was dark but for that brilliant light from the Altar.

Suddenly, suspended in the air I saw Jesus crucified.   I saw Him from the head to the lower part of the chest.  The cross beam of the Cross was sustained by some large, strong hands.  From within this resplendent light, a small light, like a very brilliant, very small dove, came forth and flew swiftly all over the Church.  It came to rest on the left shoulder of the Archbishop, who continued to appear as Jesus because I could distinguish His long hair, His luminous wounds and His large body, but I could not see His Face.

Above was Jesus crucified, His head fallen upon His right shoulder. I was able to contemplate His face, beaten arms and torn flesh.  On the right side of His chest He had an injury and blood was gushing out toward the left side and toward the right side, what looked like water, but it was very brilliant.  They were more like jets of light coming forth towards the faithful, and moving to the right and to the left.  .  I was amazed at the amount of blood that was flowing out toward the Chalice.  I thought it would overflow and stain the whole Altar, but not a single drop was spilled.

At that moment the Virgin Mary said: “This is the miracle of miracles.  I have said to you before that the Lord is not constrained by time and space.  At the moment of the Consecration, all the assembly is taken to the foot of Calvary, at the instant of the crucifixion of Jesus.”

Can anyone imagine that?  Our eyes cannot see it, but we are all there at the very moment that they are crucifying Jesus.  And He is asking for forgiveness to the Father, not only for those who killed Him, but also for each one of our sins: “Father forgive them because they know not what they do.”

From that day on, I do not care if the world thinks I am crazy, but I ask everybody to kneel and try to live, with their heart and with all their sensibility that they are capable of, this privilege that the Lord grants us.

When we were going to pray the Our Father, the Lord spoke for the first time during the celebration and said: “Wait, I want you to pray with the deepest profundity which you can summon.  At this moment, bring to mind that person or persons which have done you the greatest harm during your life, so that you embrace them close to your bosom and tell them with all your heart: “In the Name of Jesus I forgive you and wish you peace.  In the Name of Jesus, I ask for your forgiveness and wish my peace.  If the person is worthy of that peace, then the person will receive it and feel better for it.  If that person is not capable of opening up to that peace, then peace will return to your heart.  But I do not want you to receive nor offer peace when you are not capable of forgiving and feeling that peace in your heart first.

“Be careful of what you do,” continued the Lord, “you repeat in the Our Father: forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.  If you are capable of forgiving but not forgetting, as some people say, you are placing conditions upon the forgiveness of God.  You are saying: You forgive me only as I am capable of forgiving but no more.”

I do not know how to explain my pain, at the realization of how much we can hurt the Lord.  And also how much we can injure ourselves by holding so many grudges, bad feelings and unflattering things that are born from our own prejudices and over-sensitivities.  I forgave; I forgave from the heart and asked for forgiveness from all the people whom I had hurt at one time or another, in order to feel the peace of the Lord.

The celebrant said, “…give us peace and unity…” and, then, “the peace of the Lord be with all of you.”

Suddenly I saw that among some (not all) of the people who were embracing each other, a very intense light placed itself between them.  I knew it was Jesus and I practically threw myself to embrace the person next to me.  I could truly feel the embrace of the Lord in that light.  It was Him Who embraced me giving me His peace, because in that moment I had been able to forgive and remove from my heart all grief against other people. That is what Jesus wants, to share that moment of joy, hugging us and wishing us His Peace.

The moment of the celebrants’ Communion arrived.  There I once again noticed the presence of all the priests next to Monsignor.  When he took Communion, the Virgin Mary said:

“This is the moment to pray for the celebrant and the priests who accompany him.  Repeat together with Me: “Lord, bless them, sanctify them, help them, purify them, love them, take care of them and support them with Your Love.  Remember all the priests of the world, pray for all the consecrated souls…”

Dear brothers and sisters, that is the moment in which we should pray for them, because they are the Church as we, the laity, are also.   Many times we, the laity, demand so much from the priests, but we are unable to pray for them, to understand that they are human and to comprehend and appreciate the solitude that many times can surround a priest.

We should understand that the priests are people like ourselves and that they need to be understood, to be cared for.  They need affection and attention from us because they are giving their life to each one of us, as Jesus did, by being consecrated to Him.

The Lord wants the people of the flock that God has entrusted to him to pray and help in the sanctification of their Pastor.  Someday, when we are on the other side, we will understand the marvels that the Lord has done, giving us priests who help us to save our souls.

The people began to leave their pews on their way to Communion.  The great moment of the encounter had arrived.  The Lord said to me: “Wait a moment; I want you to observe something…”  An interior impulse made me raise my eyes towards the person who was going to receive Communion on the tongue from the hands of the priest.

I should clarify that this person was one of the ladies from our group who the previous night was unable to go to confession but this morning was able to do so before the Holy Mass.  When the Priest placed the Sacred Host on her tongue, a flash of light, like a very golden white light, went right through this person, first through her back, then surrounding her from the back, around her shoulders and then her head. The Lord said:

“This is how I Myself rejoice in embracing a soul who comes with a clean heart to receive Me.”

The tone of voice of Jesus was that of a happy person.

I was astonished to see my friend return to her pew surrounded by light, embraced by the Lord.  I thought of the marvel that we miss so many times by going to receive Jesus with our small or large offenses when it should be a feast.

Many times we say that there are no priests to whom to go to confess at any given moment.  But the problem is not about confessing at each moment but the problem resides in our ease of falling into evil again.  On the other hand, in the same way that we make an effort to search for a beauty parlor or men search for a barber when we have a party, we have to also make an effort to seek a priest when we need to remove all that dirt from ourselves.  We must not have the audacity to receive Jesus at any moment with our hearts full of ugly things.

When I went to receive communion, Jesus told me: “The Last Supper was the moment of the greatest intimacy with My own.  During that hour of love, I established what could be thought of as the greatest act of lunacy in the eyes of men, that of making Myself a prisoner of Love.  I established the Eucharist.  I wanted to remain with you until the end of the centuries because My Love could not bear that you remained orphans, you whom I loved more than My life.”

I received that Host which had a different flavor.  It was a mixture of blood and incense that inundated me entirely.  I felt so much love that the tears ran down my cheeks without me being able to stop them.

When I returned to my seat, while kneeling down, the Lord said: “Listen…”   A moment later I began to hear the prayers of the lady who was seated in front of me and who had just received communion.

What she said without opening her mouth was more or less like this: “Lord, remember that we are at the end of the month and I do not have the money to pay the rent, the car payments or the children’s school.  You have to do something to help me… Please, make my husband stop drinking so much.  I cannot bear any more his being intoxicated so often and my youngest son is going to repeat the year again if you do not help him.  He has exams this week…  And do not forget our neighbor who must move.  Let her do it right away.  I cannot stand her anymore… etc., etc.”

Then the Archbishop said: “Let us pray,” and obviously all the congregation stood up for the final prayer.  Jesus said in a sad tone: “Did you take note of her prayer?  Not a single time did she tell Me that she loves Me.  Not a single time did she thank Me for the gift that I have given her by bringing down My Divinity to her poor humanity, in order to elevate her to Me.  Not a single time has she said: thank You, Lord.  It has been a litany of requests… and so are almost all of those who come to receive Me.”

“I have died for love and I am risen.  For love I await each one of you and for love I remain with you… But you do not realize that I need your love.  Remember that I am the Beggar of Love in this sublime hour for the soul.”

Do you all realize that He, Love, is begging for our love and we do not give it to Him?  Moreover, we avoid going to that encounter with the Love of Loves, with the only love who gives of itself in a permanent oblation.

When the celebrant was going to give the blessing, the Holy Virgin said: “Be attentive, take care… You do any old sign instead of the Sign of the Cross.  Remember that this blessing could be the last one that you will receive from hands of a priest.  You do not know when leaving here if you will die or not.  You do not know if you will have the opportunity to receive a blessing from another priest.  Those consecrated hands are giving you the blessing in the Name of the Holy Trinity.  Therefore, make the Sign of the Cross with respect, as if it was the last one of your life.”

How much we miss in not understanding and not participating everyday at the Holy Mass!  Why not make an effort to begin the day a half hour earlier and run to the Holy Mass and receive all the blessings that the Lord wants to pour over us?

I am aware that because of their obligations not everybody can attend daily Mass, but at least two or three times a week. So many avoid Mass on Sundays with the smallest excuse that they have a child, or two, or ten, and, therefore, they cannot attend Mass.  How do people manage when they have other important types of commitments?  They take all the children or take turns and the husband goes at one hour and the wife another, but they carry out their duty to God.

We have time to study, to work, to entertain, to rest, but WE DO NOT HAVE TIME AT LEAST ON SUNDAY TO GO TO THE HOLY MASS.

Jesus asked me to remain with Him a few minutes more after Mass had finished.  He said:

“Do not leave in a hurry after Mass is over.  Stay a moment in My company and enjoy it and let Me enjoy yours…”

As a child I had heard someone say that the Lord remained with us for five or ten minutes, after communion.  I asked Him at this moment:

“Lord, truly, how much time do You stay with us after communion?”

I suppose that the Lord must have laughed at my silliness because He answered: “All the time that you want to have Me with you.  If you speak to Me all day long, offering Me some words during your chores, I will listen to you.  I am always with you.  It is you who leaves Me.  You leave the Mass and the day of obligation ends.  You kept the day of the Lord and it is now finished for you.  You do not think that I would like to share your family life with you, at least that day.”

“In your homes you have a place for everything and a room for each activity: a room to sleep, another to cook, another to eat, etc.  Which place have you made for Me?  It should not be a place where you only have an image, which collects dust all the time, but a place where at least five minutes a day the family meets to give thanks for the day and for the gift of life, to ask for their needs of the day, to ask for blessings, protection, health.  Everything has a place in your homes, except Me.”

“Men plan their day, their week, their semester, their vacations, etc.  They know what day they are going to rest, what day they will go to the movies or to a party, or visit grandmother or the grandchildren, the children, their friends and to their amusements.  How many families say at least once a month: ‘This is the day for our turn to go and visit Jesus in the Tabernacle,’and the whole family comes to talk to Me?  How many sit down in front of Me and have a conversation with Me, telling Me how it has been since the last time, telling Me their problems, the difficulties they have, asking Me about what they need… making Me part of these things?  How many times?

“I know everything.  I read even the deepest secrets of your hearts and minds.  But I enjoy your telling Me about your life, your letting Me participate as a family member, as your most intimate friend.   Oh, how many graces does man loose by not giving Me a place in his life!”

When I remained with Him that day and on many other days, He continued to give us teachings. Today I want to share with you this mission that He has entrusted to me.  Jesus said:

“I wanted to save My creature because the moment of opening the door to Heaven has been impregnated with too much pain…”  “Remember that not even one mother has fed her child with her own flesh.  I have gone to that extreme of Love to communicate My merits to all of you.

“The Holy Mass is Myself prolonging My life and My sacrifice on the Cross among you.  Without the merits of My life and My Blood, what do you have with which to come before the Father?  Nothing, misery and sin…

“You should exceed in virtue the angels and archangels, because they do not have the joy of receiving Me as nourishment like you do.  They drink a drop from the spring, but you that have the grace of receiving Me, you have the whole ocean to drink.”

The other thing that the Lord spoke about with pain concerned people who encounter Him out of habit, of those who have lost their awe of each encounter with Him.  That routine turns some people so lukewarm that they have nothing new to tell Jesus when they receive Him.  He also said that there were so many consecrated souls who lose their enthusiasm of falling in love with the Lord, and have made their vocation an occupation, a profession to which nothing more is given, except that which is demanded of one, but without feeling…

Then the Lord spoke to me about the fruits that must come from each communion that we take.  It does happen that there are people who receive the Lord daily but do not change their lives.  They spend many hours in prayer and do many works, etc. but their life does not go on transforming and a life that does not transform cannot bear true fruits for the Lord. The merits we receive in the Eucharist should bear the fruits of conversion in us and fruits of charity toward our brothers and sisters.

We the laity have a very important role in our Church.  We do not have the right to be silent because the Lord has sent us out, as all the baptized, to go forth and announce the Good News.  We do not have the right to absorb all this knowledge and not share it with others and to allow our brothers to die of hunger when we have so much bread in our hands.

We cannot watch our Church crumble as we stay comfortable in our parishes and homes, receiving and receiving so much from the Lord: His Word, the homilies of the priests, the pilgrimages, the Mercy of God in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the marvelous union with the nourishment of communion, the talks of preachers.

In other words, we are receiving so much and we do not have the courage to leave our comfort zone and go to a jail, to a correctional institution, to speak to the neediest.  To go and tell them not to give up, that they were born Catholic and that their Church needs them there, suffering, because their suffering will serve to redeem others, because that sacrifice will gain for them eternal life.

We are not capable of going where the terminally ill are in the hospitals and by praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet, helping them with our prayers during that time of struggle between good and evil to free them from the snares and temptations of the devil.  Every dying person has fear and just taking their hand and talking to them about the love of God and the marvel that awaits them in Heaven next to Jesus and Mary, next to their departed ones, gives them comfort.

The hour in which we currently live does not allow us to be indifferent.  We must be an extension of the hands of our priests and go where they cannot reach.  But for this, we need courage.  We must receive Jesus, live with Jesus, nourish ourselves with Jesus.

We are afraid to commit ourselves a little more and when the Lord says, “First seek the Kingdom of God and the rest will be added onto you,” He says it all, brothers and sisters.  It means to seek the Kingdom of God, by all possible means and with all means and… to open your hands in order to receive EVERYTHING in addition!  This is because He is the Master Who pays the best, the only One Who is attentive to your smallest needs.

Brothers, sisters, thank you for allowing me to carry out the mission that was entrusted to me, that of having these pages reach you…

The next time you attend Holy Mass, live it.  I know the Lord will fulfill for you His promise that “your Mass will never again be the same.”  And when you receive Him, love Him!

Experience the sweetness of feeling yourself resting against the folds of His side, pierced for you in order to leave you His Church and His Mother, to open for you the doors to His Father’s House.  Experience this so that you are able to feel for yourself His Merciful Love by means of this testimony and try to reciprocate with your childlike love.

                                                                 Stanley C. Villavicencio

BROTHER Stanley Villavicencio, A Filipino lay man from Mambaling Cebu City, Philippines, is a man who experienced God’s love and mercy through a life changing miracle that happened to him. Because of his obedience to God’s call and his childlike trust in God, he trusted his family completely to god’s merciful love and care and started giving his life testimony which was investigated by no less than Ricardo Cardinal Vidal of the Archdiocese of Cebu has been declared as authentic. He was allowed by CBCP to give testimony through a signed letter of endorsement by MSGR.Pedro Quitorio.

The testimony of his encounter with Jesus Christ the Divine Mercy happened on March 2, 1993. To this day he has received 34 messages and has not stopped spreading god’s messages of mercy to the world. Every time he received messages from Jesus, his spiritual director, Msgr. Cris Garcia of the Archdiocese of Cebu would know that he received messages through internal locution. By reading this compilation of his testimony, some testimonies of people who have listened to his talks, as well as the messages from Jesus,we hope and pray that Jesus will be alive again in people’s hearts. We hope that this will give people hope, peace and the knowledge that God’s love for us is truly unfathomable; that we can beg for as much mercy as we can because God has an ocean of mercy; that He is aching to pour out His mercy to us if we ask for it.

As of this account, Stanley has had 34 encounters with Jesus of the Divine Mercy in his dream where he has received several messages. Mgr.Cris Garcia, his spiritual director who had been endowed with the gift of internal locution, is made aware of each encounter with Jesus. Stanley writes down the message and submits it to Msgr. Cris who in turn confirms the message and clears the message with Cardinal Vidal. The original messages re written by hand to ensure no alternations are made. Stanley reports that during the 2nd to the 7th encounter with him, Jesus just smiled and remained silent before him.

In the 8th dream, Stanley was shown that Msgr. Cris was to be his spiritual director.

Jesus blessed Stanley in the 9th dream before Stanley’s first stint to Mindanao where he was guided to go by a boat. Before the trip, Cebu was under storm warning no.3 yet from the time they sailed from Cebu and arrived in Mindanao, the sea remained calm.

In his 10th dream, Jesus brought Stanley to a beautiful garden. Jesus then flew him around the world to see all races of people from different nations.

Stanley’s 11th dream encounter happened early in the morning when due to the heat, he took off his shirt and sleepily (almost falling asleep) said his 3:00 a.m. prayers. When Jesus appeared, He spoke out loud, “don’t I deserve respect?”  Stanley apologized profusely, dressed up and prayed attentively.

My son, my son, thank you for being always obedient and consistent in doing your mission. But I tell you this, ” I’m the strength because this is my own personal crusade to fulfill what is written.”  Blessed are those who are pure in heart for the gates of heaven are wide open for them. So, now is the time for them to cleanse and reconcile because of them I am prolonging the time of mercy, but I cannot hold it for long. I love you my son.

He smiles and hugs me. He blesses me and he is gone.

I love you my son, as I have loved all that my Father created.

My Lord, my God, so many are in trouble about the building of the shrine, what shall I do?

My son, my son, build me a shrine in each and everyone’s heart, I need a living shrine, full of love with a trusting soul. Their trust should be how to save souls on so short time, not in a lifeless stone.

They can serve me better by promoting my unfathomable mercy to all souls with humility.

Pray, pray, the Chaplet without ceasing, it will be their shield against enemies.

He smiles and hugs me. He blesses me and he is gone.

No. 21: Cagayan de Oro City (Bro. Ali and Sis. Vicky Baguio res.), 3:15 p.m.,March 2, 1998

My Lord, my god, thank you for giving me the privilege to serve you and help spread your own personal devotion.

My son, my son, we have commissioned you for this task, and thank you for being faithful in your mission before God. We have called so many, yet so few responded. Attachment to the world hinders their confidence in Me. Sins of distrust wound Me most painfully. If only they knew how to gather eternal treasures, they will not be judged on Judgment Day.Please  include  in  your  mission  the  importance  of  the Sacraments. The significance of this Institution is so much abused and made useless. Pray, pray, the Chaplet and recommend it to all, as the Last Hope of Salvation. I love you my son.

He smiles and hugs me and He is gone.

No. 22: Taytay, Rizal (Bro. Crispin & Jocelyn Misanes res.), 3:00 a.m., 19October 1998

My son, my son, heaven rejoices as your team are leading so many souls to salvation. It consoles My Mother. Keep up, be strong, it won’t be long. After this, Era of Peace comes, as what is written. But before it, struggle of great magnitude unseen before, takes place. All the signs are already present. So now is the time for them to choose between Mercy and Justice. Between Heaven or Hell no other. As the time comes let them pray the Chaplet and the Rosary unceasingly as their last shield. To those who propagate My Mercy I promise to be merciful to them as the time comes, but they have to put mercy into action. I love you my son.

He smiles and hugs me and He is gone.

No. 23: Tin Lok Lane, Wan Chai, Hong Kong (sis. Cora Joya’s flat), 3:15 a.m.,17 June 99

My son, my son, thank you for loving your mission. It gives you more strength and stimuli to preach the truth of My Infinite Mercy. But man loves so much the world that so many refuse to return to me, and repent for their sins. If only they realize how it is to suffering Hell, they will open their ears and listen to Me. They should trust My Mercy and be ashamed of their sins. And I will not remember their sins anymore. They must repent now before it is too late. But my son beware because Satan is now doing everything to destroy you, so please be strong, because after this your happiness will before eternity, it won’t be long. I love you my son. I will be with you always.

He smiles and hugs me. He blesses me and he is gone.

No. 24: Daughters of St. Dominic, Tagaytay City, 3:15 a.m., 19 Sept. 99

J: My son, my son, you have been anointed to preach My Mercy and call sinners to repentance, so you have to do My Will and I will work with you.

Yes, my Lord, my god, and thank You my Lord for the wonderful graces and blessing you showered us especially to my family.

J: My son, my son, my generosity knows no limit to those who trust Me. but man becomes lovers of themselves and preferred the lust of the flesh, much more than the love of the Living God. As if they want to ignore the existence of hell.

My Lord, my God, so many claimed receiving messages from Mama Mary yet refuse to be controlled or studied by Your Church.

J: My son, my son, obedience is more than sacrifice. If you cannot obey those in authority then all your efforts will be put into waste. Spiritual pride leads them to perdition, without even knowing it. So et them pray the Chaplet and the Rosary unceasingly and ask for the gift of discernment for guidance. I love you my son. I will be with you always.

He smiles and hugs me. He blesses me and He is gone.

No. 25: Tabada, Mambaling, Cebu City, 3:30 a.m., 30 June 00 (Feast of the Sacred Heart)

My son, my son, thank you for being always trustful and obedient to the Will of Heaven. And please encourage the faithful to multiply their prayers for my beloved priests, because they are my precious jewels, although some of them cause My Heart to bleed. But still I will bless them abundantly, in time and in eternity. Much more if they stay longer in the confessional. Because that is where mercy flows greater than all sins committed by any living creature.  So please exert more effort to proclaim that Satan is real and that Hell really exists. You cannot serve two masters at the same time. So, now is the time to turn to My Mother and to My Unfathomable mercy, there I no other choice, time is running out. I love you my son. He smiles and hugs me. He blesses me and He is gone.

No. 26: John the Evangelist, Dublin Ireland, 3:30 a.m., July 3, 2001

My son, my son thank you for being always faithful to your mission and obedient to the will of heaven. My son if only man would realize the disastrous effect of sin, which wreak havoc, suffering and threatens so many souls to damnation, they would go back and unite with me. Souls will never have pace until they turn to the abyss of My Mercy, and it is only through My Mercy that they will find comfort and feel the presence of My Love. They should not be afraid to go back to Me even if their sins be as plentiful as the stars in the sky. All will be forgiven in the ocean of My Mercy because this devotion is God’s gift to mankind. All they need is to trust Me. I love you my son. I will always be with you!

He hugs me. He blesses me and He is gone.

No. 27: Tabada, Mambaling, Cebu City, 3:10 a.m., August 22, 2001

My Lord, My God, so many ask me, I pray the chaplet everyday, I pray the rosary everyday, I attend mass every day, but why is my family very far from the Lord. Even if I force them, still they refuse. Even if I force them, still they refuse.

J: My son, my son, do not force them. Do not force them, because you cannot change a person. Only God can change a person and only prayers can move God. So, multiply your prayers for the sinners, because the sinners do not pray for themselves anymore. And if you stop praying for them, it is as if you are throwing them to fire. But if you continue prying for that person before that person dies, he will go back to the Lord…before that person dies, he will go back to the Lord.I love you my son.

He hugs me.He blesses me and He is gone.

No. 28: Tabada, Mambaling, Cebu City, 3:30 a.m. July 23, 2002

J: My son, my son, please do not be upset. It is just an acid test. Because Satan is so afraid souls will hear about My Unfathomable Mercy. He is so afraid that so many, so many would immerse in the ocean of My Mercy. So please go on with the gathering and proclaim My Mercy to all souls. I am not  weighing on how successful your mission but on your loyalty to heaven. Son, just double your prayers, do your best and I do the rest.I promise to be there. I will run that convention personally because this is My own personal battle.I love you my son.

He hugs me. He blesses me and He is gone.

No. 30: BF Homes Parañaque City (Roxas Residence), 3;30 a.m., July 14,2003

My son, my son, thank you for being always obedient. Heaven is very happy with your mission. They please My Heart and My Mother’s. We can see your sincerity to serve and save souls. So I not only work with you, but I work in you. Please do more to help strengthen My church, because so many are just playing with the Sacraments. How can they love Me if at the same time hurts Me?They should realize that a sin is a sin. No compromise, no double standard. They should and must correct their lives now, before it would be too late. The door of mercy won’t be for long… I love you my son.

He blessed me and He was gone.

No. 31: Shizuoka-ken, Kinkugawa-Shi Narano, Japan (Bro. Toyoaki & Sis.Remy Suzuki, Residence), 3:15 a.m., February 22, 2005

My Lord, my God, thank you for being always merciful. But my Lord,my God, why it is so hard to sell your devotion? So many can’t just accept your Mercy. And even more some commented, “It is just too good to be rue.” And it hurts me very much every time I hear it.

My son, my son, just go on proclaiming My Mercy. Time is so ripe, it won’t be long. They can refuse or reject My Mercy, but I assure you, nobody, nobody, can escape my justice. So please persevere… I love you my son.

He blesses me, he hugs me and he is gone.

No. 32: Banette Shinohara, Adachi-Ku, Umejma 3-28-4 Rm. 103, Tokyo, 3:15a.m., September 02, 2006

My son, my son, please tell your Japan team, “Thank you very very much for helping spread My own personal devotion.” It leads so many souls back to salvation. Heaven is so happy… So, I promise to be merciful to them when the time comes… As I said before. “he who saves a soul, saves his own.’ Please beg them to persevere.Time is short now.

I love you my son. He hugs me. He blesses me and He is gone.

No. 33: Bro. Paul/Sis. Tricia Roxas, BF Parañaque 3:33 a.m., December 5,2007

My Lord, my God, it is a privilege and an honor to serve You.

My son, my son, you have been chosen to help clear the way.You are the walking icon of God’s mercy for the world. Because after my mercy I will rule as a King. But I am a just judge. So, please persevere. It won’t be long. I love you my son.

He embraces me. He blesses me and He is gone.

No. 34: Charles and Marita Morgan Residence, 810 Schirra Drive, Oradell,New jersey 0769, 3:45 a.m., March 8, 2009

My Lord, my God, so many are begging me to ask you if what is the difference between the healing mass and an ordinary mass?

“My son, my son, all masses are the same because I am really present in all masses celebrated in the world. And what you receive during Holy Communion is My real Body and Blood not just an ordinary bread. But healing starts at the confessional. So please encourage the faithful to go back to the sacrament of confession. Because I Myself act on the soul. I am just waiting for you there. So please persevere. I love you my son. “

He embraces me. He blesses me and He is gone.

On the day brother Stanley came to One Heart Family, he received internal locution from Jesus on February 8, 2003 at 3:30 a.m. My Lord, my God, why some of your workers find it hard to put mercy into practice? Jesus said,

“My son, my son, spiritual pride lead so many souls to damnation without even knowing it. So please encourage them to proclaim My Mercy with utmost humility, so they can obtain greatness in the eyes of God, not of the world.”

No. 35: Bro. Reuben /Sis Tanya Ortiz 11608 Arroyo de Vista, NE Albuquerque,New Mexico 87111 USA, 3;15 a.m. March 2, 2010

My son, my son, thank you very much for your unwavering efforts to spread My unfathomable mercy. It lead so many lost souls back to salvation. Heaven is rejoicing. But please encourage the faithful to give more respect to the sacrament. And be modest when they enter My Church because inside the church they don’t please the eyes of men but the eyes of God. If they believe that I am God then they should trust Me. And congratulation my son. Today is your 17th year when I called you. I love you my son and always be assured I work in you.

He embraces me. He blesses me. And He is gone

What I am going to tell you is what happened to me, about my personal encounter with Jesus Christ of the Divine Mercy. When you hear my testimony, I hope it will increase your faith, and that you will know that there really is a God and that our God is a living God. What happened to me, happened on March 2, 1993. That was Tuesday and a birthday of one of my children. By the way, at that time, I had ten children, but now, I have thirteen. And by the way, I am a member of the Perpetual Dawn Rosary.

It is our practice that whenever there is an occasion at our house, we invite the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary and it is also our practice that whenever the Virgin comes into our house, it is I who has to receive the Virgin. But on that day, when the Virgin is already in our house, whatever they do to wake me up, I cannot be awaken, so it was my mother in law who received the Virgin.

At eight o’clock that morning, my mother in law said, she heard me moaning and moaning. She tried to look at me in my room and she found me lying in bed, trembling vigorously and blood coming out of my mouth. It also happened that the sister of my father-in-law who is a nurse was present and attended to me immediately. And she touched my pulse beat, she cannot find any pulse beat anymore and as she touches my chest, my heart beat is very slow. And when they opened my eyes both eyes are already white, so they asked help from our neighbors and they brought me to Chong Hua Hospital, they hired four specialist doctors and the doctor said that my chance of survival is one in a million, because my heart beat is already very very slow.

As I enter the emergency room, I cannot breathe anymore, even with the help of oxygen, so they transferred me to I.C.U. or the Intensive Care Unit, so my breathing can be aided thru ambubagging or forcing oxygen inside. At the I.C.U., my trembling did not stop and the blood was still coming out from my mouth, so the doctor injected me with Valium to control everything.

Because Negros Island and Cebu are just very near, so that very day my relatives arrived. Among them is my father who is a doctor and my sister who is also a doctor and the cousin of my wife; who is a doctor was also present. By the way, my wife is also a nurse.

The following day, the doctors called up my wife and asked her permission to take off all the life support apparatus attached to my body because they said there is no more chance of survival. And because there is no more chance of survival so my wife called up our house and asked that my long sleeve shirt for my burial be prepared. And my mother-in-law says she has a memorial plan and that her memorial plan is transferable. So she had it transferred to my name. Meaning! I will be the one to use her coffin. And it also happened we had a reservation at the Queen City Garden, a Cemetery in Cebu, because when my father-in-law died in 1987, we bought three lots, so they processed all the papers so they can bring me to the Queen City Garden. Meaning, everything is already ready. I have the long shirt to wear for my burial, I have already a coffin to stay in, I have already a cemetery to live in.

But God has a different plan, because none of my relatives agree to remove all the life support apparatus attached to my body. In fact, they take turns in bagging me. But it is only my body present at the I.C.U. of Chong Hua Hospital, because I saw a light, a very big bright light, but not glaring. You can stare at it, it is like a fog as it slowly evaporates, until I notice someone is standing in front of me. And when I look at His face, I recognize him as Jesus.

As we are looking at each other He raised His left hand and when He raised His left hand the clouds above were sucked downwards and when they reach just above us, the clouds keep on turning and changes in color sand when it stops it becomes a video screen. And he showed the film of my life, from my childhood up to my present. And I notice that every time I do good, it just goes on normally and I also notice that every time I commit a sin, suddenly it would go into slow motion as if he wants to show us that what we have done is wrong, as if he wants to show us that what we have done is a sin. And because I have also committed bigger sins, sins like what we call mortal sin.

Every time it shows up, suddenly it would stop, close it up and enlarge it. Then I said to myself: why should this be included? There must be no Board of Censor in Heaven, because it is just too bad to look at, but even if I closed my eyes I could still see it.

Also I notice that every time I commit a sin, I could feel the heaviness. I could feel the heat. The more I commit sin, the more the heaviness, the more the heat. And I also notice that every time I do good, for example, if I give something to the poor, I could feel as if I’m floating. So it is really true what is written in the Bible, “That whatsoever you do to the least of your brethren, that you do unto Me.” And I also notice that the sins I did not confess to a Priest it is too heavy. And we cannot deny anything because the screen is so big and very clear and also the pictures are also big and below the pictures are written the day, the month, the dates and the year and also below that, hour is written, the minutes, and the seconds. So, we cannot deny anything because even the seconds are recorded.  In fact, He reviewed my film three times and after our long conversation, He tapped my shoulder and as He was tapping my shoulder, He said to me:

“You go back now, because you still have so many things to do. You still have so many things to finish. If I have something for you or if I have a message for you I will just appear to you in your dream.”

After He says that, I at the I.C.U. of the Chong Hua Hospital, suddenly I got up I could feel my body so light and my head so fresh. That when got up, I removed the oxygen from my nose. After removing oxygen, there is a tube going down into my intestine, so I slowly removed the tube because it tickles me. And after removing the tube, I slowly removed the I.V. from my hand and because there was a nurse who saw everything, and that she was so afraid that she ran away. In fact, the nurse said, one of the heels of her shoes was broken.

When the nurse returns she has other nurses, doctors  and the technicians, they are all running and when they reach me, they help put me to bed again. And one of the doctors put in his stethoscope and examined me and after a short examination, the doctor put off his stethoscope, put it beside him and he asked for another. Meaning! He did not believe his stethoscope and he put it on and re –examined me again and after a long examination, the doctor looked at my E.C.G. and he said, since I was admitted t the I.C.U. my E.C.G. was just in straight line, but now they were so surprised  because  my  E.C.G.  is  working  normally  and  because  the technicians were already present, they subjected me to ultra sound, x-rays, laboratory tests and brain scan. And now all the results are in negative, meaning, I am not sick.

The doctors were all surprised and they asked permission from my wife to have another set of examinations, because they said there might be something wrong with the apparatus and my wife concede, and they subjected me again to another ultra sound, laboratory tests and brain scan except for x-rays. And again all the results were in negative: meaning, I am not really sick. So the doctors said to my wife: “there is nothing now that we can do, it is already a miracle. You better have a mass celebrated for this purpose.”

When I woke up, I woke up at eight o’clock in the morning of Friday. If you will count it from eight o’clock in the morning of Tuesday to eight o’clock in the morning of Friday, that is exactly three days. And because of that the media alerted. The television, the radio and newspaper. And because our Church, the Roman Catholic Church does not just easily believe in miracles, so it has to be investigated and the investigation was led by Ricardo Cardinal Vidal of Cebu.

Cardinal Vidal leads the investigation in March until the middle of September. Cardinal Vidal released a letter confirming what happened tome. And he gives me an endorsement letter, so I can give testimony around the world specially that one of the doctors who was assigned to me at the I .C.U., he is not just an ordinary doctor because when he graduated medicine, he graduated Magna Cum Laude when he took the medical board exams, he is the Board Topnotcher. Meaning he got the highest score all over the country and when he entered Chong Hua Hospital he was awarded s the most outstanding P.G.I. doctor and when he is already a resident doctor of Chong Hua Hospital he was assigned to me in the I.C.U. from the very beginning until I woke up three days after. And because he cannot sleep anymore, so he entered the seminary to become a Priest, and now he is already a Priest.

From March 1993 up to now, Jesus keeps appearing to me to my dream. That is also accepted by our local Church. Because my Spiritual Director is Monsignor Cris Garcia. He is one of the holiest Priests in Cebu and he is also gifted. He has the gift of inner locution (inner telepathic voice),meaning he can talk to Jesus. But he cannot see Jesus. But Jesus appears tome, to my dream, where I can see Him. And what is best for us! Every time Jesus appears to me, He also tells my Spiritual Director, so there is a confirmation. That is why, wherever I go, it is embraced by the Church.

Also during the investigation, the doctors asked the Priest: “where does the blood come from because there is no wound and why I was not short of blood, because the blood coming out from my mouth is with pressure and continuously for several hours and why there was no blood transfusion because when I woke up everything is normal.” So the priest prayed and after praying they answered that those blood coming out from my mouth is for cleansing. I have to be cleansed because I have to face the Lord.

Also they asked me: “Why you? Why did Jesus choose you?” So I answered them. Maybe because I am nothing. Maybe because I have nothing to be proud of except for my sins. So, when I have a conversion with the Lord, I asked the Lord: “My Lord, my God, why me? I’m a sinner and I am a sinful man, there are so many much more worthy than me. Why me?” and Jesus answered: “You cannot appreciate the beauty of My Mercy unless you experience the misery of sin.” So I accepted the mission.

That is why now, in the Philippines, the chaplet is very popular, not only among the Catholics but also to the other Church denominations because there are so many miracles that have been attributed to the chaplet. For example: my spiritual director, Monsignor Cris Garcia, he had a slight stroke. So he was admitted at the hospital, and the doctor said that he had a brain tumor and that there is a virus in his brain and that he cannot open his eyes because it is too painful. We went to the hospital and we prayed the chaplet together with Msgr. Cris Garcia, several minutes later Msgr. Cris stood up and we have a conversation and several minutes later, he asked for his laptop computer. So you see the power of the chaplet.

The following day, we prayed again the chaplet together with Msgr.Cris Garcia and after praying the chaplet, the doctors re-examined him and found him negative of everything. So on the third day he checked out the hospital as if nothing had happened. You see the power of the chaplet?

Also, one of our Divine Mercy leaders in Katipunan, Dipolog in the Philippines, his wife was ill early in the morning. So they brought his wife to the hospital. The doctors gave him a prescription pad to buy the medicine and because at that time he has no money, so he has to sell his pig. And the buyer paid him for the pig, but the buyer said that he would get the pig the following day. But that afternoon that very day, the pig refused to stand up and refused to eat. So he was so worried, because if something happens to the pig, they will be in trouble because, they already consumed the money to buy medicine. So he called all his children and explained to them everything; that they have to pray the chaplet for the pig. So they prayed the chaplet. But at the middle of praying the chaplet the children were laughing. They were all laughing because they said it is better to pray the chaplet to a person but not for a pig. He explained it again to them. He explained it again and again. And on the third time that they prayed the chaplet, the children prayed intensely. After they finished praying the chaplet, the pig suddenly stood up and one of the children ran and get some food for the pig and the pig consumed everything. And the lesson is, if Jesus answered our prayer for a pig, how much more if we pray the chaplet for a human being.

We have another leader of the Divine Mercy in the Philippines. He has several acres of rice fields and because he is poor he cannot afford to buy fertilizer and insecticides. So, what he did every morning, he would roam around his rice field and pray the chaplet of the Divine Mercy, everyday! Every morning! And also every afternoon. During the harvest time, his harvest is much more than those using fertilizer and insecticides. So you see the miracle of the chaplet!

Also I asked the Lord, “What are the sins that You cannot forgive? ”Jesus said: “ All sins can be forgiven except if you refuse to believe that your sin can still be forgiven.” Because Jesus said by refusing His mercy you are also refusing to believe that He is a God. That is why Jesus said: “Before I come as a Just Judge, I will open wide the door of MY MERCY.” But Jesus continued that “He who refuses to pass through the doors of My Mercy will have to pass through the door of My Justice.”

Now, after a long while that Jesus is opening this door of mercy and after a long while He will close that door of mercy and if He will close the door of mercy then He will open the door of Justice. And if He will open the door of His Justice then who can enter Heaven?  When Heaven is only for the pure, when Heaven is only for the clean. And who are clean? And who are the pure? All of us are sinners. All of us are unclean. We can only enter Heaven through His mercy, through His love. Without God’s mercy, without God’s love, it is too difficult to enter Heaven. That is why Jesus now is begging  to  go  out  and  proclaim  His  Mercy  and  that  His  Mercy  is unfathomable but Jesus also said: “Proclaiming My Mercy is not enough, you have to put mercy into action, and how? By living as an example of My Mercy.” And I will close this testimony with another phrase from Jesus when He said to me: “He who saves a soul saves his own.”

We will have a question and answer. I am not allowed by the Church to pray over, to do healing or lay hands to anybody because Cardinal Vidal said I  should just do my evangelization, because he said, “there are some who are given the gift of healing, they will continue their healing.” But then it cannot be avoided that during my talk so many people are attending, so Cardinal Vidal arranged a veneration to the image of the Divine Mercy, so the sick people and those who have problem will ask directly to Jesus for their healing, not through me because I am only a human being. After that, this image becomes a miraculous image, because there are so many instant healings and also sometimes when I give testimony, people see lights coming out from His body. That is why there are some ripples of His body (of the image). The light has a heat and the heat destroyed the plastic. Because so many people said that Jesus is emanating lights and sometimes they say that Jesus gets out from the frame. And they said every time Jesus gets out from the frame, the frame becomes empty. And it didn’t only happen in the Philippines. It also happened in Hongkong, Macau, Mainland China, Japan, in New York, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Chicago, North Dakota, Texas, Alabama, Georgia all over the United States and in Canada, Mexico and Brazil. It also happened in Europe especially Ireland, England, France, Czechoslovakia, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Italy and the Vatican because I have also said my testimony in Vatican in front of some cardinals and archbishops all over the world and they saw Jesus get off from the frame meaning during the veneration (showing respect and appreciation) Jesus is really present. So during the veneration, talk to Him and ask Him anything you want because as long as what you are asking for is not against His will, He will give it to you because nothing is impossible with the Lord. And then after Jesus, you have to pass thru Mama Mary because Mama Mary said, “I am the Mother of Mercy”. And that without Mama Mary there is no Jesus. That’s why wherever the Son is, there is the Mother, wherever the Mother is, there is the Son.

Q: Can we confess direct to God not to a priest anymore?

A:Well it is stated in the Bible that whosoever is forgiven on earth is forgiven in heaven. Whosoever is not forgiven on earth is not forgiven in heaven. If you believe that the Bible is the word of God, we have to obey the Bible. Truth is, wherever I go, many are telling me, “Brother can we go straight to God and not to pass through the priests because the priests are also human, they also sin that is why it is better to go straight to God? So I ask you now, “Do you think a priest can commit a sin or not?” They say. Yes, the priests also sin. But actually, the truth is, a priest cannot commit a sin, because the name priest is just a title, just like a doctor, attorney, engineer. So how can a title commit a sin? It is the person and not the priest who sin. So let us not look at them as persons. Let us look at them as priests. Why do we go to church? We go to church so we can receive a blessing. Now, when we enter the church and we see the priest and what we saw is his person, in our minds we have already committed a sin. So instead of receiving a grace, we end up being disgraced.

This is what happening in the confessional. In the confession, the priest does not say, “in the name of Monsignor Cris Your sins are forgiven.” No. He will say “…in the name of the Father, of the Son, of the Holy Spirit”, so it means it is heaven who forgives, not the person who became a priest. So let us not look at them as persons. Let us look at them as priests.

The best example for this is the broom. What is the broom to you, is it clean or dirty? Then they will say …dirty! Then I will say if it is dirty, why do you use it to clean the dirt? This is what happens to a person who became a priest. Even if his person is sinful even if his person is dirty still he is used by the Lord to cleanse our soul. So, we really need to confess to a priest. We really need to confess to a priest.

Q. What is the message of Jesus to the priests?

A: Jesus said. “Please multiply your prayers for my beloved priests because they are my precious jewels. Although some of them cause my heart to bleed, but still I will bless them abundantly in time and in eternity much more if they will stay longer at the confessional” because Jesus said. “It is at the confessional that mercy flows greater than all the sins committed by any living creature.” So here we can realize how important confession is.

Q: Other denominations comment that the catholic prayers are repetitious. What do you think about this?

A: One time, I gave my testimony to a big company. The problem there was, the employees have different religion. We first prayed the Rosary for Mama Mary, then we prayed the chaplet of the divine Mercy and the input, the testimony and then question and answer, those who belong to other religions stood up and said. “Brother Stanley, why is your prayer repetitious? Isn’t your rosary repetitious, your chaplet repetitious? And then, they faced the people and said… “Didn’t you hear their prayers? All are repetitious! It was as if they were trying to excite the people. With this, my blood began to boil and so I asked them. “Is there anything in this world that is not repetitious? Do you not eat everyday? Do you not move your bowel everyday? Do you not drink everyday? Do you not urinate everyday? Do you not sleep everyday? Do  you not wake up everyday? Only one is not repeated. We only die once,  unless He  sends  us back  for  a purpose  but  everything  is repetitious. Isn’t your breath repetitious? Do you like me to cut it off? They could not answer. Truth is everything in this world is repetitious. The sun comes back, the night comes back, the rain comes back, the typhoon comes back, everything in this world comes back so if someone will ask you why our prayers are repetitious, you answer in this way. Isn’t your breath repetitious? You want me to cut it?

There is also somebody from another religion who stood up and said “Brother Stanley, why are Catholics shameless? You Catholics, you commit sin and then after sinning, you go to the priest to confess. After you confess, you sin gain, then you go back again to the priest and confess. Are you not ashamed? Your faces are calloused and you are really shameless. So I told him, “Brother, you are okay because you are not a Catholic, but we Catholics,  we  have  sacraments  and  included  in  these  sacraments  is confession so every time we commit sin, we go back to the priest to confess. But you have no sacraments so you don’t have a problem. Then he said. ‘No, it is better for you not to confess because just the same you will sin again so it is better for you not to go to confession. I got irritated so I told him, “Brother, if that is your principle, this is what you should do. If you move a bowel, don’t wash because just the same, you will again move your bowel. Why do you have to wash? Let us see now who has a fouler smell.

Q. Is salvation only for Catholics? How about other religion? Can they be saved?

A:Truth is, salvation is a free gift from God . So it means we cannot buy salvation. And if God will be followed, He likes to bring everybody to heaven. If His will is followed, He likes everybody to enter heaven. However, it is the people who are avoiding heaven. Because people have so loved the world, and because of this love for the world, he ends up committing sin, continues to commit sin, enjoys committing sin, and even justifies his sins. So this means, people are the ones who avoid heaven. Truth is, religion cannot save us and will not save us. Religion will only guide us to salvation. What will save us is not religion but it is us who can save ourselves. Meaning, salvation is not in religion. I cannot believe that only Catholics can be saved, because there are so many Catholics who are so bad. So religion depends on how we are able to fulfill God’s will.

However, among the many religions we have now, it is only the Roman Catholic Church that believes indulgence, because the other religion they don’t believe in indulgence. In fact the Roman Catholic Church has offered two kinds of indulgences. One, we call plenary indulgence. Jesus explained tome the real meaning of a plenary indulgence. Jesus said, “A plenary indulgence is the total erasures of all the punishments for the sins that are already forgiven.”

Because the truth is when we confess to a priest, ours sins are forgiven but the punishment remains. That is why, when we die, we cannot just go straight to heaven. We have to pass through purgatory to pay for the punishment of our sins. And after paying for the punishment, that is the time we can enter heaven. But if a person receives plenary indulgence, whatever happens to him, he will just go straight to heaven because plenary means total or complete.

The best example fort the plenary indulgence so you can easily understand it, is the Feast of the Divine Mercy. The grace that we will receive on the Feast of the Divine Mercy is what our church calls a plenary indulgence. For example, today is the Feast of the Divine Mercy, then we are in state of grace, we went to mass and received Communion. Actually in the book of Sister Faustina, we have to confess, hear mass and receive communion on the day of the Feast of the Divine Mercy. But then Cardinal Vidal said that it is impossible for all the people to confess at the same time on this day because we have very few priests, so he said that if we have mortal sin, we have to go to confession. But if we do not have mortal sin, we can go to mass. If we only have venial sins, we can go to mass then offer our venial sins especially during the consecration and it will be erased. So when you receive Holy Communion, you are already in the state of grace.

For example, today, Feast of Divine Mercy, and you go to mass, receive   Holy  Communion,  it  means  you  have  the  received  plenary indulgence, all the punishments for your sins from childhood up to today will all be erased. Whatever happens to you, you will go straight to heaven. You will not pass through purgatory because plenary means total or complete.

Another example, if today is the Feast of Divine Mercy and you received the plenary indulgence, you are still alive the next day, and you sinned again, whatever happens to you, your payment will be very little. So the Feast of the Divine Mercy is an extraordinary grace. This is an example of a plenary indulgence. Partial indulgence means partial. For better understanding, we will make an example. Partial indulgence is anything good you do like masses, novenas, rosaries, chaplets, corporal works of mercy, and spiritual works of mercy. Let us take the soul of Pedro for example. His soul is in purgatory to pay for the punishments for his sins. For example, the soul of Pedro will have to stay in purgatory for 50 years. Because you love Pedro, so you always ffer masses for him, novenas for his soul, rosaries, chaplets, corporal works of mercy and spiritual works of mercy and all that you do are offered for Pedro. His 50 years will depend on our Lord. If you continue offering masses and novenas for his soul, the years will be reduced until it is erased. Then the soul of Pedro can now enter heaven. If Pedro enters heaven, he will not do anything except to pray for you because you are responsible why he entered heaven. In gratitude, he will not do anything but pray for you…meaning, you are still alive, you already have a prayer warrior in heaven.

And that is the difference between our religion and the other religion. Although salvation is for everybody, but the other religion, they have to pass through the long way because they don’t believe in indulgence. If you will observe on All Soul’s Day, only Catholics go the cemetery. In other religion, if you are dead, you are dead. But we Catholics are different. Even if our loved ones have been dead for a long time, their memory is still fresh in our hearts and minds so we always offer masses for them, we always pray for them, we always visit them in the cemetery. In other religions, if you are dead, you are dead. Period. So this is like a shopping mall. If you bought plenty, you will pay more and so you will go to the ordinary lanes. But if you bought only little, it means you will pay less so you can go to the express lane. And that express lane represents the Roman Catholic Church. Meaning our religion is the fastest way to heaven. Meaning our religion is the shortest way to heaven. So you have to be proud to be a Catholic! You should be proud to be a Catholic.

Q: How about drinking alcohol, what do you think?

A:Well, to drink is not a sin. Drinking becomes a sin when you get drunk because when you are drunk, you do not know what you are saying, you do not know what you are doing that is why you are sinning. So, it is not a sin to drink. It is a sin to be drunk.

Q: Many denominations believe there is heaven and hell but they don’t believe in purgatory. How can you explain purgatory as understood by Catholics?

A:Well, Jesus said we have only two choices, either heaven or hell. But then purgatory is part of heaven. There is really purgatory but then Jesus said purgatory is part of heaven. It is just a cleansing area because heaven is only for the pure. Heaven is only for those who are sinless and no one is sinless because all of us are sinful. That is why there is really purgatory. I do not give talks to Catholics only, I also give talks to people of other religion and they don’t believe in purgatory. That is why I explain to them what happens. For example, the nail represents sin. Just for example the nail represents sin and then if we sin, the nail is embedded to the wall. Because the nail represents sin, so when we commit a sin the nail is embedded to the wall. When we confess our sin to a priest our sins are forgiven. And because our sins are forgiven, the nail is removed from the wall. But when the nail is removed, because it represents the sin, a hole remains.  So meaning the hole represents the damage caused by our sin and this has to be paid in purgatory. So meaning, our sins are forgiven, but the damaged caused by the sins we committed will have to be paid. For example, when Pope John Paul II was shot, when he left the hospital, the first thing he did was to go to the prison to forgive the man who shot him. He forgave him, even embraced him, but it does not mean that because he was forgiven he will be released from prison. No! He will still remain in prison to pay for the punishment of his sin.

Q: Are Ghost real?

A:Well they are real. It is true we have a spirit. Actually, the souls can pray for the living but they cannot pray for themselves. The living can pray for themselves, they can also pray for other living persons, and they can also pray for the souls on purgatory. And because the souls in purgatory cannot pray for themselves that is why there are ghosts. They make us feel them because they need our help, because they cannot pray for themselves. But actually, the ghosts are harmless because they are just spirits. So if there is a ghost, speak to them right away. Tell them not to scare you because if they do, you will not pray for them and I am sure they will be scared because that is all they need, our prayers. That is why sometimes when we dream of relatives and friends who were already dead, it is because they need your help. So if you dream of the dead, you have to offer masses always for them so that they can enter heaven faster. What is beautiful here is if they enter heaven because of you, in gratitude, they will not do anything but to pray for you. Meaning, you are still alive and you already have a prayer warrior in heaven. So you should be generous to them. You need to offer masses for them to speed up their entrance to heaven. We also have a soul. That is why if you love your body, you should also love your soul. You need to have a balanced life. What do we do with our body? We always bathe ourselves, we cleanse our body with perfumed soap, we brush our teeth, we feed ourselves with vitamins, we fed ourselves with good food, and we give ourselves delicious drinks while our body is jus temporary. When we die who will be healthy? The earth and the worms only. But our soul is eternal. If we are in business, and we cannot balance, it means your soul will enter hell. That is why, if you love your body, you should also love your soul.

Q: You told us to pray to conquer ourselves. How do you pray? Can you share us how to pray?

A:Well, when I pray I make it as if it were my last prayer. Because if I think I will pray now, then tomorrow will pray again, the day after tomorrow I will pray again, I will not give everything. But if you make your prayer as if it were the last prayer, you will give everything because, Jesus said. “I need a quality prayer not in quantity.” He does not need kilometers of prayer. What he needs is a prayer even if it is short, as long as it comes from your heart, it will surely reach heaven .

Q: What is the meaning of the Divine mercy image, did Jesus explain to you?

A:Well, Jesus explained to me the image of the Divine Mercy. At the back of the picture,  there is a door and Jesus said. “I am the door and that nobody can enter heaven without passing through me.” Meaning, he himself is the door to heaven. Nobody can enter heaven without passing through Him because he is the door to heaven. And then Jesus said the white rays represent sacramental confession which is the cleansing of our soul. And then the red rays, Jesus said, the red rays means that He is really present in the Eucharist. This means, the Host that we receive during communion is not ordinary bread. It is the blood and body of our Lord and our God. That is why we need to prepare to receive Holy Communion. We cannot just receive and receive. And then at the bottom it is written, “Jesus, I Trust In You.” Jesus said that it is His Signature. That is why Jesus said that if you believe that there is God, you should also have trust in Him because faith is lacking when there is no trust. You lack faith when you do not trust. That is why if our trust is 80% only. He does not like it. If our trust is only 90% only, He still does not like it. If our trust is Him is 99% only, He does not like it. Our lord likes 100%. No less. Because Jesus said that sins of distrust hurts Him most. Sin of not trusting Him is the sin that is most hurting for Him. Let us take for example our friends, if they do not trust us, isn’t it also painful? If our spouse do not trust us, isn’t it painful? How much more for God who is our creator, who himself made us. If we do not trust him, that is most hurting for him. That is why whatever happens to us, whatever is wrong with us, whatever is lacking with us, we should go back to the one who created us. Because He is the only one who can repair us, He is the only one who can change us because he is the one who created us. So, whatever happens to us, we should go back to him and trust Him.

Q: What is the difference between the Sacred Heart Devotion and the Divine Mercy devotion?

A:Well the truth is after what happened to me, I thought it was the Sacred heart who made me live again. The truth is I did not have a devotion to the divine Mercy. I just see the Divine Mercy on TV, the 3 O’clock Prayer, but more than that, none. But then when I was young, I have been a devotee to the Sacred Heart. Our School in Negros is called Sacred heart Academy. My  teacher who is a nun explained to me very well that even if I was still young, she was able to convince me to have a devotion to the Sacred Heart. I had this devotion until I grew up, until I got married in Cebu. When I reached Cebu, my devotion became continuous. However, the chapel is a portable chapel. It is built beside the road during fiestas but after the fiesta it is being dismantled, kept and then assembled again next year during fiesta again. After, they chose me to be the President of the chapel, I told this to Cardinal Vidal. I told him, cardinal, I was chosen by them to be the President of the chapel so Cardinal Vidal said “congratulations”. Because before what happened to me. I was working as an Avsecom in Mactan International Airport and I was the contact person of the Archdiocese of Cebu in the airport. So Cardinal Vidal and I already knew each other even before what happened to me. so when I told cardinal that the chapel is a portable chapel and is being erected beside the street during fiestas, that after the fiesta, it is being dismantled, kept and assembled again the next year during fiesta again. Cardinal said, “That is now your mission.” You need to build a permanent chapel. That is why on that day, I talked to the members of the chapel and told them that there is anyone who can donate a lot, I will build a permanent chapel. So I was able to build a permanent chapel. So when this happened to me, I thought it was the Sacred Heart  who made me live. But then Jesus explained.  Jesus said “Love is the flower, mercy is the fruit”. The Sacred heart is a flower and Divine Mercy is the fruit meaning, love and mercy goes together. That is why no matter how angry you are with your spouse or how angry you are with your children, because you love them, you still have mercy and compassion on them. We are like that. No matter how big our sin is, because the Lord loves us, that is why He still has mercy on us. So we cannot separate the Sacred Heart and the Divine Mercy because love and mercy goes together. You have mercy because you love them.

Q: What is the difference between Divine Mercy from the other devotions?

A:Well, if you say devotion, in English that is commitment or a promise. In tagalong we call it “Panata or Pangako”. So for example, just for example, you have a devotion to the Holy Infant Jesus or Sto. Niño, it means because you have a devotion to Sto. Niño, you have a commitment or a promise to have a perpetual novena to Sto. Niño. Because you are the one who promise so we can call it a devotion of man towards God. Now if you have a devotion to Mama Mary, it means you have a commitment or a promise to have a perpetual novena to Mama Mary or if you have a devotion to Mama Mary, it means that you have a commitment that everyday you pray the rosary. And because you are the one who promised, we call it a devotion of men towards heaven. The same with all devotions to any saint whoever they are. We call ita devotion of men towards heaven.  But devotion to the Divine Mercy is different. It is different because you can never find in the Bible that when a person sins, he promises to go back to God. None. But it is only Jesus who said, “Before I come as a just judge, I will open wide the doors of my mercy. Before I come as a just judge, I will open wide the doors of my mercy.” Meaning, before He comes back to the world, He will open first the door of His Divine Mercy. This means this is not a devotion of people towards God. This is a devotion of God towards the mankind.

So it all depends on us if we will accept Him. But if only everybody will take advantage of His mercy, not a single soul can enter hell regardless of faith, regardless of religion, because the mercy of God is for everybody. The mercy of God is or all the people. So if you help in the propagation of the devotion to the Divine Mercy, you are not helping me, nor you are not helping the church but you are actually helping God Himself. You are helping God Himself because this is His devotion, not our salvation.

Q: Among the messages that Jesus has given to you, what do you think is the most important and most relevant to the times today?

A:Jesus said… “They can refuse or reject my mercy but I assure you nobody, nobody can escape my justice.”

Q: It is a sin to smoke?

A:Well cigarette smoking is really a sin because you kill yourself slowly. It is in the 10 commandments that “Thou shall not kill” So if you are smoking, you are slowly killing yourself and it is really a sin to smoke.

Q: Did Jesus tell when He is coming so we can prepare?

A: Jesus said, “Now is the time of mercy. Now is the time to reconcile with the Lord. Now is the time to reconcile with your family. Now is the time to reconcile with everybody. Not tomorrow because when tomorrow comes that is today”. So  why  wait  for  tomorrow.  Our preparation must not be tomorrow. Preparation should start now because we do not know when our Lord will take us. There are times when people sleep, some of them do not wake up anymore? And the question is, “Are they ready to face the Lord?” That is why we need to prepare now, not tomorrow because we do not know when our Lord will take us. In fact, I have a beautiful example about preparation. One time, I went to  Europe.  My  flight  is  Cebu–Hong kong,  Hongkong-London.  And  then between  Hongkong  and  London,  the  airplane  was  depressurized  and suddenly,  it  nosedived.  All  the passengers were crying  and shouting. Everybody was crying, shouting, calling the name of the Lord. It was only me who was not crying. I observed all of them one by one. And then seated near me was a priest and a nun. They were also crying, calling the name of the Lord. Especially the nun, she was very nervous and was holding a big rosary. She was moving so much that onetime our eyes met and when our eyes met, I smiled at her and when I smiled at her, she suddenly got so mad. Her face was frowning and looked disfigured. She was so mad that even her eyes seemed to burst because of anger until the airplane was normalize, the nun suddenly stood up, removed her seatbelt and then walked irritatingly towards me and when she was in front of me, she suddenly shouted at me and said, “Why are you not praying. Are you not afraid to die?” So I told her, “Why should I? I am already ready.”And then I continued, “You know what you are doing? That is written in the Bible.  ”Jesus said, “One day, someday, so many will be calling my name, crying shouting, calling my name but I cannot hear them anymore.” You know why? Because you are calling the name of the Lord not because you love Him but because you are afraid to die.

And she could not answer. Slowly, she bent her head and she as if one pail of ice water was being poured on her and she went back to her seat. It means she is not ready to die. And because she shouted at me, all the passengers looked at me and when I looked back at them they also bent their heads meaning, they too are not yet ready to die. What will happen if you are not ready to die? If there are calamities, they will cry and shout and call the name of the Lord. But if a person is already ready, he will welcome the Lord. That is why the preparation is not tomorrow. The preparation should start now because we do not know when our Lord will take us.

Q: If God is merciful, why does he allow suffering?

A:Well, Jesus allows suffering because suffering makes us closer to the Lord. Because the more we suffer the more we pray. And also, suffering is purification. Suffering is cleansing. A few months ago, I gave a talk in and big hospital and many who attended were cancer patients. And those who had cancer were very angry at the Lord. They said, “Why me not only? How about the others, why are they not sick, why is it me alone who is sick? How about them? Why don’t they have any cancer? Why is it that it is me alone who has cancer?” So I told them, don’t get mad at our Lord. It means the Lord loves you very much. Look at others, they are not even sick and are very healthy, always laughing but suddenly they meet an accident and died and the question is … are they ready to face the Lord? It means, the lord loves you very much very much. At least he gave You a chance to clean up yourselves so when the right time comes, you are ready to enter heaven. When the right time comes, you are very ready to face the Lord. So it means,  suffering is a grace. Suffering is a grace.

In fact, one time I also complained to the lord God. I asked Him, Do I need to suffer also? Everyday, I sacrifice to propagate Your Divine Mercy but why is it that I also have suffering? And then Jesus said, “Without suffering there is no crown of glory.” It means no one is exempted of suffering. We only have different kinds of suffering.

Q: I pray the rosary everyday, I pray the chaplet everyday, I attend mass everyday, but why is my family far away from the Lord, even if I force them still they refuse.

A:Somebody asked me that question and I asked Jesus and Jesus said, “Don’t force them. Do not force them because you cannot change a person. Only God can change a person and only prayers can move God. Only prayers can move God. ” That is why Jesus said, “You have to multiply your prayers for the sinners because the sinners do not pray for themselves anymore and if you stop praying for them it is as if you are throwing them to fire. It is as if you are throwing them to fire.” Our Lord said, that sinners do not pray for themselves anymore so if we stop praying for them, it is as if we the ones who threw them to hell. And then Jesus promised, ”But if you continue praying for that person, before that person dies, he will go back to the Lord.” So it means our motto is, “Not Retreat, No Surrender.” Meaning we have to continue our prayers especially for our beloved ones because if we stop, we lose. So it means our motto is, “Not Retreat, No Surrender.” Meaning we have to continue our prayers especially for our beloved ones because if we stop, we lose.

Q: Many people have bondages. Do you have any idea or advice how to cut them off from these bondages?

A:Well, one time, a Divine Mercy devotee from Zamboanga went to Cebu. She went to our house and said, “Brother, can you teach us how to cut bondage? Because their grandmother has been in and out of the hospital until the hospital doesn’t want to accept her anymore. She is now in the house instead. He said their wealth is almost finished. They sold their belongings just to have money to spend for their grandmother until the hospital doesn’t want to accept them anymore. Now she is just in the house and in the house she has been fighting for her life for more than 3 months but sill she would not die. Her whole body is already full of worms but still she would not die. One of her arms was raised up but then nobody among her children and grandchildren wants to receive the bondage because they do not want the bondage to be transferred to them by their grandmother.  They do not want it to be transferred to them that is why she would not die and has been fighting for her life for 3 months. So she told me Brother, please help us how to cut the bondage. So I said, let us wait for the 3 o’clock and let us ask the Lord what we should do. After praying, I just learned from the Lord to pray the chaplet 7 – 7 to cut the bondage. So meaning we have to pray the chaplet 7 times in a day. Meaning we start at 7 o’clock in the morning, and end at 7 o’clock in the evening. So every 2 hours, 7,9,11,1,3,5,7 for 7 days. So I told her to go back to Zamboanga to pray the chaplet 7-7 for their grandmother.

And because almost all the relatives were already there. I told her to let all the relatives join together to pray the 7-7. So on the 7th day, they told  me, on the 7th day, at 7 o’clock in the evening, the last chaplet, they told me that while they were praying the last chaplet on the 7th day, there was suddenly a glow in the whole body of their grandmother. The glow was turning and it was very bright and the hand slowly went down. And when it went down, the glow transferred to her face. The face of their grandmother became very bright. Before, when she was suffering, the struggle was very hard but when the face of their grandmother glowed, she smiled and slowly closed her eyes and died. So meaning the bondage was cut. You have to pray the chaplet 7-7 to cut the bondage.*Bondages include womanizing, alcoholism and many more me, on the 7th day, at 7 o’clock in the evening, the last chaplet, they told me that while they were praying the last chaplet on the 7th day, there was suddenly a glow in the whole body of their grandmother. Q: What is your advice regarding the healing of a family tree?

A:Well, the best way to heal a family tree is through the mass. All our ancestors who died must enter heaven. We have a saying that the sin of our ancestors will transfer up to the 4th generation. So to cut the sin, we need to help them enter heaven because when they enter heaven what win will you inherit? None! So we should not be stingy with them. We always offer masses for them. I have observed that we who are living remember to offer masses only 4 times a year… for the birthday of the dead, anniversary of the dead, All Souls ’ Day and fiesta of our place. It is important that we always offer masses for them so that they can enter heaven faster. When they enter heaven, there is no more sin to inherit. So the best way to heal a family tree is we must always offer masses for them. And if they enter heaven, they will not do anything in heaven but to pray for you because you are the one responsible in helping them enter heaven.

Q: what is the significance of the 3 o’clock prayer in the morning because there are so many answered prayers at 3 o’clock in the morning. It is written in the 3 o’clock prayer that he died at 3o’clock in the afternoon. Please explain.

A:Well at 3 o’clock in the morning, that is the time of His resurrection. In fact, it is in the record that during the resurrection, Jesus met with Mama Mary at 4 o’clock in the morning. Also on record, he was made captive at 3o’clock in the morning. He died at 3 o’clock in the afternoon and He resurrected after 3 days also at 3 o’clock in the morning. That is why Jesus sometimes wake us up at 3 o’clock in the morning. It is because He wanted you to pray. He did not wake you up without a purpose. He woke you up because he knows there are many answered prayers at 3 o’clock in the morning.

Q: You mentioned about the Blessed Mother. Did Jesus say anything to you about His mother’s Rosary?

A:Well, when I conversed with Jesus, He told me about the Rosary. He said, the Joyful mystery is connected to His Second coming. He said, the Sorrowful Mystery is what is happening now in the world because we are suffering and then the Glorious Mystery is for heaven. Because in the first Joyful Mystery, the Annunciation is the time when Mama Mary said yes because if she did not say yes, we do not have salvation. Without her saying yes, we do not have salvation. And then in the joyful mystery, that time, it was Mama Mary who said yes but now, it is our time to say yes to the Lord. The second Joyful mystery is the Visitation. Meaning whatever we know about the Lord, we should visit other people and spread to them how merciful our God is. And in the third joyful Mystery, is the birth of Jesus. Here he became man that is why we need to have changes in our lives and allow Jesus to enter our life. And the fourth joyful Mystery is the Presentation, meaning we have to present Jesus to the heart of the people. We need to introduce Him to the hearts of the people so that when He comes back in the 5th mystery, the finding of Jesus in the Temple, in His coming back, he will find out that He is inside the hearts of people because He is really coming gloriously.

Q: Have you had any encounter with the evil of the other side?

A:Yes. We have a saying, that the closer you are to the Lord, the more the other side will pull you to their side. Our Lord appeared to me through a dream, the other side appeared to me but not through a dream, I was awake. In fact, I told you that you cannot describe the Lord because He is everything. The same with the other side. You cannot totally describe the evil because he is everything, however they are opposite in the beauty of the lord and the ugliness of the other side. In fact, he offered me that if only I will stop my mission, he offered to make me one of the richest men in the world and then I will be the most popular in the whole world and he will give me the women that I like. But then, I told him, I do not need temporary happiness. I like happiness that is eternal. That is why I did not accept his offer.

Q: You are propagating God’s Divine Mercy and people think that God is really very very merciful so that people continue to do many bad things in their life hoping that God will be merciful in the end. What can you advise to these people?

A:Well Jesus one time, when I had a conversation with him said…”Sinners should understand that mercy is only possible while you are still alive on earth. Justice takes over when you are dead.” Meaning, if we are still alive, mercy of God is still available but when we are dead, justice takes over.

Q: Do you heal?

A:I am not a healer. Jesus is the healer that is why I am forbidden to pray over or to lay hands. Cardinal Vidal advised me that after my talk, we will have a veneration to the image of the Divine Mercy so that we will ask directly from the Lord for our healing. Not through me. So if a healing happens through veneration, it is Jesus who healed you. Not me.

Q: Please describe how Jesus looks like?

A:Well from among the many pictures of our Lord, there are similarities but not totally because actually if you are in front of the Lord, you cannot just totally  describe  your  feeling,  you  cannot  just  totally  describe  your satisfaction, you cannot just totally describe your happiness because he is everything. But to what I saw, He is taller than me, slim and then if you look at Him at a distance, you can say that His hair is blonde. It is because He has a gold aura and because of the reflection of the aura, you can say that his hair is blonde. But if He is right in front of you, His hair is black, straight, but wavy, long and really very good looking. His eyes are blue, His skin is pinkish, he has a pointed nose, very red lips, white and perfect teeth. He also has a beard and if He smiles, you will see His dimples. If he smiles, you will see His dimples. And He is more polite than me, because every conversation, it is always accompanied by please. That is why I said, how humble our Lord is.

Q: What can you say about people who refuse to believe in God’s mercy?

A: Well Jesus said, by refusing his mercy, you are refusing to believe that He is a God. So that is the sin that He cannot forgive. He said, all sins can be forgiven except when you do not believe that you can be forgiven for your sins because Jesus said by refusing His mercy, you are also refusing to believe that he is God.

Q: Some denominations do not believe in the Blessed Mother. They even break or destroy her images. What can you say about this?

A:One time I gave a talk to the Protestants. After my talk, they said, Brother Stanley, is it necessary to be a baptized Catholic if we make a devotion to the Divine Mercy? I told them, “no, just be a good Protestant. Just be a good Protestant.”  And  then they said.  “What  do  you  mean  to be  a good Protestant?” So I said…”a good Protestant does not quarrel with the Mother of God because if you quarrel, you are bad. If you don’t quarrel, you are good.” Isn’t it if you quarrel with your neighbor always, you are bad, but if you do not quarrel with your neighbor, you are good? How much more with the Mother of God!

Q: How do you demonstrate complete trust in Jesus?

A:  Well you have to trust blindly.

3  O’Clock Prayer to the Divine Mercy

You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for soul sand the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fountain of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelope the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us. O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in You.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, Have mercy on us and on the whole world. (3 times)

JESUS, King of mercy, I trust in You! Amen

( Say this prayer  on ordinary rosary beads)

1. Begin with the Sign of the Cross, 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary and The Apostles Creed.

2. Then on the Our Father Beads say the following:
Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

3. On the 10 Hail Mary Beads say the following:
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

(Repeat step 2 and 3 for all five decades).

4. Conclude with (three times):
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Jesus said later to Sister Faustina:

“Say unceasingly this chaplet that I have taught you. Anyone who says it will receive great Mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as the last hope. Even the most hardened sinner, if he recites this Chaplet even once, will receive grace from My Infinite Mercy. I want the whole world to know My Infinite Mercy. I want to give unimaginable graces to those who trust in My Mercy. When they say this Chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person not as the just judge but as the Merciful Savior”…“By means of it you can ask and obtain anything, if what you ask for will be compatible with my will.”

“Oh, what great graces I will grant to souls who say this chaplet; the very depths of My tender mercy are stirred for the sake of those who say the chaplet.  Write down these words, My daughter.  Speak to the world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable mercy.  It is a sign for the end times; after it will come (230) the day of justice.  While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy; let them profit from the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them”.

The Divine Mercy Novena

Jesus asked that the Feast of the Divine Mercy be preceded by a Novena to the Divine Mercy which would begin on Good Friday.  He gave St. Faustina an intention to pray for on each day of the Novena, saving for the last day the most difficult intention  of all, the lukewarm and indifferent of whom He said:

“These souls cause Me more suffering than any others; it was from such souls that My soul felt the most revulsion in the Garden of Olives. It was on their account that I said: ‘My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass Me by.’ The last hope of salvation for them is to flee to My Mercy.”

In her diary, St. Faustina wrote that Jesus told her:

“On each day of the novena you will bring to My heart a different group of souls and you will immerse them in this ocean of My mercy … On each day you will beg My Father, on the strength of My passion, for the graces for these souls. In this novena I will grant to the souls all types of graces”. It is a promise without restrictions…

“I desire that during these nine consecutive days you bring the souls to the fountain of my Mercy so that they will find strength, consolation and all graces needed to face the difficulties of life, specially at  the hour of death.

DAY 1 (Good Friday)  – All mankind, especially sinners

Today bring to Me all mankind, especially all  sinners, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me.”

Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us and to forgive us, do not look upon our sins but upon our trust which we place in Your infinite goodness. Receive us all into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart, and never let us escape from It. We beg this of You by Your love which unites You to the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon all mankind and especially upon poor sinners, all enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion show us Your mercy, that we may praise the omnipotence of Your mercy for ever and ever. Amen.

DAY  2 (Holy Saturday) – The souls of priests and religious

Today bring to Me the Souls of Priests and Religious, and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them as through channels My mercy flows out upon mankind.”

Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service,* that they may perform worthy works of mercy; and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in heaven.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the company of chosen ones in Your vineyard — upon the souls of priests and religious; and endow them with the strength of Your blessing. For the love of the Heart of Your Son in which they are enfolded, impart to them Your power and light, that they may be able to guide others in the way of salvation and with one voice sing praise to Your boundless mercy for ages without end. Amen.

DAY 3 (Easter Sunday)  – All devout and faithful souls

“Today bring to Me all Devout and Faithful Souls, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. These souls brought me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were a drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness.”

Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of Your mercy, You impart Your graces in great abundance to each and all. Receive us into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let us escape from It. We beg this grace of You by that most wondrous love for the heavenly Father with which Your Heart burns so fiercely.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon faithful souls, as upon the inheritance of Your Son. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, grant them Your blessing and surround them with Your constant protection. Thus may they never fail in love or lose the treasure of the holy faith, but rather, with all the hosts of Angels and Saints, may they glorify Your boundless mercy for endless ages. Amen.

DAY 4 (Easter Monday) – Those who do not believe in Jesus and those who do not yet know Him

“Today bring to Me those who do not believe in God and those who do not know Me, I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy.”

Most compassionate Jesus, You are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which is Your Most Compassionate Heart.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who do not believe in You, and of those who as yet do not know You, but who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Draw them to the light of the Gospel. These souls do not know what great happiness it is to love You. Grant that they, too, may extol the generosity of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

DAY  5 (Easter Tuesday) – The souls of separated brethren

Today bring to Me the Souls of those who have separated themselves from My Church, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church My wounds heal and in this way they alleviate My Passion.”

Most Merciful Jesus, Goodness Itself, You do not refuse light to those who seek it of You. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into the unity of the Church, and do not let them escape from the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart; but bring it about that they, too, come to glorify the generosity of Your mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son’s Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen.

DAY  6 (Easter Wednesday) – The meek and humble souls and the souls of children

“Today bring to Me the Meek and Humble Souls and the Souls of  Little Children, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence. “

Most Merciful Jesus, You yourself have said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.” Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy and they are the heavenly Father’s favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

DAY  7 (Easter Thursday) – The souls who especially venerate and glorify Jesus’ mercy

“Today bring to Me the Souls who especially venerate and glorify My Mercy,  and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over my Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death.

Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is Love Itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who particularly extol and venerate the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities they go forward, confident of Your mercy; and united to You, O Jesus, they carry all mankind on their shoulders. These souls will not be judged severely, but Your mercy will embrace them as they depart from this life.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that of Your fathomless mercy, and who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls are a living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts, overflowing with joy, sing a canticle of mercy to You, O Most High! I beg You O God:

Show them Your mercy according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Let there be accomplished in them the promise of Jesus, who said to them that during their life, but especially at the hour of death, the souls who will venerate this fathomless mercy of His, He, Himself, will defend as His glory. Amen

DAY  8 (Easter Friday) – The souls who are detained in purgatory

Today bring to Me the Souls who are in the prison of Purgatory, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off their debt to My justice.”

Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You, and yet, who must make retribution to Your justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of Purgatory, that there, too, the power of Your mercy may be celebrated.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in Purgatory, who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Your Son, and by all the bitterness with which His most sacred Soul was flooded: Manifest Your mercy to the souls who are under Your just scrutiny. Look upon them in no other way but only through the Wounds of Jesus, Your dearly beloved Son; for we firmly believe that there is no limit to Your goodness and compassion. Amen.

DAY  9 (Easter Saturday) – The souls who have become lukewarm

Today bring to Me the Souls who have become Lukewarm, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. These souls wound My Heart most painfully. My soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: ‘Father, take this cup away from Me, if it be Your will.’ For them, the last hope of salvation is to run to My mercy.”

Most compassionate Jesus, You are Compassion Itself. I bring lukewarm souls into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart. In this fire of Your pure love, let these tepid souls who, like corpses, filled You with such deep loathing, be once again set aflame. O Most Compassionate Jesus, exercise the omnipotence of Your mercy and draw them into the very ardor of Your love, and bestow upon them the gift of holy love, for nothing is beyond Your power.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon lukewarm souls who are nonetheless enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Father of Mercy, I beg You by the bitter Passion of Your Son and by His three-hour agony on the Cross: Let them, too, glorify the abyss of Your mercy. Amen.
